Can a massage cause a person to be aroused

In some cases, yes they can, and it’s completely normal. Touch administered to any part of the body can activate the parasympathetic nervous system, which can result in arousal. It is nothing to be embarrassed about. A truly professional massage therapist knows this and is not shocked by what the body does during a massage. In other words, a true professional massage therapist will make sure that no matter what your body does as a result of your massage there is no judgement and that you are in a safe place. Just to add, some massages will cause the body to pass gas while on the table. Again, nothing to be embarrassed about.
